2023 AGM ANNOUNCEMENT

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP
The Annual General Meeting for the membership of Saskatoon Ringette will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, via Zoom at 6:30pm. Voting will be done through Zoom and will be anonymous.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
- To approve the audit from the 2021-2022 season.
- To review and vote on proposed changes to the bylaws. Proposed Bylaw changes are listed below.
- To review changes to policies.
- To receive and approve the 2022-2023 season reports.
- To elect Directors to the open positions on the board.
Nominations from the floor will not be accepted.
A Call for Nominations letter/application is available here.
- To appoint the auditor for the year ending April 30, 2023.
- To transact other business properly brought before the meeting by the SRA membership.
- To submit a motion for the agenda, click here.
- Agenda items will not be accepted after April 12, 2023 at 11:59pm.

Quorum for the meeting is 25 members. Members include: registered players, eighteen years or older, or parent/guardian of players under eighteen, registered coaches, managers, trainers and officials.
PROPOSED BYLAW CHANGES:
In a motion made by the Saskatoon Ringette Board of Directors it is proposed that the following changes be made to our Saskatoon Ringette Bylaws.
The position of Equipment Coordinator to become a voting position on the board.
The position of Volunteer Coordinator to become a voting position on the board.
Approval of the above changes to our bylaws requires 2/3 of membership in attendance.
